This time it’s a 200 place childcare centre at 1 Jacksons Road, Mulgrave. Plans for this were approved a few years ago, but further amendments to the project were endorsed recently by the council (May 2019).

The approval for the $3.9 million dollar development of the double storey childcare centre means surrounding residents, and those further afield, will have a new and impressive option when it comes to care for their children.



What does this mean for Mulgrave residents?

The council’s commitment to approving permits and plans for such Mulgrave developments serves to stimulate further growth of the suburb. It naturally encourages more investors to buy into the area, as well as attracting more people to consider the suburb as their new home.

The childcare centre development, in particular, is huge boon for Mulgrave, especially when you consider 70% of those attending our opens are families looking to upgrade from a smaller unit or apartment.
